I think that fairness to all is one of the highest virtues to strive for.

Just make sure those pureblood beacons are actually beacons on the hill not pinkwill-'o-the-wisps leading you to be lost forever in the swamp. Thus it is every pureblood's duty to strive to never lead others astray.
